Forsaken Stardust

Someone once told me that paradise was lost,

And that the fallen angels of God

Occupied the forgotten land, 

They told me that we were the offsprings 

Of the forsaken, 

And hell was our destiny.

A punishment for our forefathers sins. 

I smiled to their ignorance,

And said heaven is in the heart.

For it is your perception of life

That transforms the world. 

While acts of love will quantify beauty into the universe. 

We are stardust. 

Chemically responding and changing 

To the emotions that proceeds from our consciousness.

For you see

All stars are fated to fade into the night sky. 

At least they shine before they do.
