Paradigm Of A Paradox

In one of my eyes 

I can only see the past,

And in the other 

I can barely see the future.

Deep down I have always

Been torn by the actions 

I have done, and the ones 

I have yet to do.

Forever I have been holding on to this

Paradigm of a paradox.

For in the midst of things

I only look for pain so that I may laugh,

And I only live so that I may  die

A wise fool

Walking in a heavenly hell;

I will continue to go towards this future that I barely see,

So I can reach this past I wish to forget.
