A Wanders Smile

The truth is that the tempo of the rain

Changes with the melody of the wind

And sometimes you just have to walk to the edges earth

To see what lies beyond the land that you stand upon

Granted that it maybe nothing

But the journey could open you up to things

Some of which could be the undiscovered pieces of yourself

You may even find love along the way

And at the end of the voyage

You two could stare into that endless abyss together

Then look at each other

And instantly know that in each others hearts

Holds the emotions that could fill that emptiness

That peers beyond what was given

It’s a temptation to those that dream of such a thing

For they wander through life aimlessly

While baring that same nothingness, and a deep seeded smile.
